Who’s invited:
Intermediate & Advanced dancers, ages 13 through adult

What is ODP?:
Founded in 2005, Omaha Dance Project (ODP) is OAB's community performance program open to dancers across the metro area. This rigorous program provides non-professionals the opportunity to gain experience in a professional-style performance setting. Auditioned dancers will work with professional choreographers in late fall/early winter to prepare pieces for the late winter performances. Genres of dances are based on the selected choreographers.

Rehearsal Schedule:
Running from November 8 through January 24, rehearsals will take place on Saturday afternoons, Sunday afternoons, or Sunday evenings. Each dancer will participate in a two-hour weekly rehearsal with a specific choreographer, with commitment levels varying depending on how many pieces they’re cast in.

Tech & Dress Rehearsals:
January 25, 29, and 30

Performances:
January 31st and February 1st, 2026, at the Mary Joy and Tal Anderson Performing Arts Center at Marian High School (three performances)

Cost details:
Audition Fee: $25
Participation Fee: $125 for one dance, with total fees increasing based on the number of pieces, capped at $350 for four dances.

Choreographers and dance genres will be announced by August 6th - stay tuned!
