Tuition AssistanceOmaha Academy of Ballet offers tuition assistance to ensure equitable access to dance training. To apply for tuition assistance, please submit the application and required documents by the priority deadline. - A brief need-based statement from parent/guardian explaining why you are seeking tuition assistance, including any anticipated changes to income this year.

Tuition assistance applies to tuition only and cannot be applied to registration fees, Showcase costumes and fees, or any other fees or merchandise.
Tuition assistance applies to the 2026-27 school year only. Award notifications will be sent via email by Friday, July 31st, 2026. Accounts will be adjusted in Jackrabbit to reflect tuition assistance awards before August 21st, 2026. *The majority of tuition assistance will be awarded to applicants submitting their applications by the priority deadline. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be considered after this date, but awards are dependent on funds remaining after the priority deadline.
Work-Study
At Omaha Academy of Ballet, our Work-Study Program is an important part of how we keep our studios running smoothly and beautifully maintained for every dancer who walks through our doors. Work-study students play a meaningful role in supporting the daily care of our space, helping ensure that our floors are clean, safe, and properly prepared for classes and rehearsals. Beyond the practical support it provides to the studio, work-study is also a valuable opportunity for dancers and families to take a more active role in the OAB community. It encourages responsibility, consistency, and pride in maintaining the shared spaces where training and artistry happen every day.
Priority Deadline*: Friday, July 24th, 2026
The Work-Study position runs from August 31st through May 27th.
Families participating in work-study receive a 20% tuition-only discount as a thank you for their time and commitment.
Work-study applies to tuition only and cannot be applied to registration fees, Showcase costumes and fees, or any other fees or merchandise.
Current Work-Study Opportunities: - Sweeping/vacuuming and mopping the studios at either the Midtown or West location (to be completed weekly)
- Taping the marley floor in three studios at our Midtown location (to be checked and stripped/retaped every other month)
Work-Study Requirements: - Work must be completed by the student(s) to retain the work-study discount. Caregivers may assist younger students but should not complete the work on their behalf.
- Work-study must be completed when classes are not in session. Families will coordinate schedules with the Academy Manager.
- Work-study discounts cannot be combined with any other discount, with the exception of the multi-class discount.
- OAB may reassign work-study opportunities if student(s) do not consistently complete assigned tasks. If reassigned, the family’s account will lose the work-study discount.
